Print Proofer

A scripted proof review on invented mailers and merchant grids, ending in a demonstration sign-off. It does not call a model or process a PDF. The case study explains the separate V2 job and failure-handling implementation.

One decision

Three steps, in order: detect what is on the page, cross-reference the grid, then verify the doubtful ones. The model never gets to decide alone; anything under a confidence line goes to a person, and a person signs every proof.

What broke

Merchants that print only a logo mark, like the SB on page 6, read as nothing. The fix was an abbreviation table and logo recognition beside the text, and a flag rather than a guess when both are weak.
